UPDATE: Boston Herald crime reporter O’Ryan Johnson tweets that the US Attorney’s office says that the computer listing is a BOP snafu and that neither Bulger or Greig should have been listed in the system at all. Johnson further tweets that US Attorneys office states that the error can not be corrected until and unless they are convicted.
Curious, in this day and age that and simple database issue cannot be easily corrected?
UPDATE: Catherine Elizabeth Greig, girlfriend to James “Whitey” Bulger is also on the move as of 9:37PM tonight.
According to the US Bureau of Prison Inmate locator service at 7:45PM this evening James “Whitey” Bulger is listed as “in transit”. Yesterday former Massachusetts House Speaker Sal DiMasi was listed as “in transit”, tonight he is in Brooklyn rumored to be headed to testify in front of a grand jury in a Massachusetts corruption scandal.
The spoof twitter account @SnitchingSal seems to be the first on twitter to break the news.

His girlfriend on the move too
